I recently upgraded from a PC with Windows xp to a Notebook with Windows 7. I was used to using the hp photo & imaging gallery to print all my photos with multiple layouts and printing multiple photos on one sheet. After upgrading, the program no longer works. It opens normally and when I get the photos opened and attempt to choose a photo to print, then it automatically pops up a window that says the program is not working and when it looks for a solution, it says 'a problem caused this program to not work properly and will now shutdown'. I am not sure if it is a driver issue or what. Any help would be great.

Hi,
This may happen if you have the older version installed as the older version is compatible only with Windows XP. First check if the program is present in the system. If yes then uninstal it from Control Panel--> Programs and Features.
Once uninstalled you can download the version which is compatible for Windows 7 from the link below:
It is recommended to backup your pictures before uninstalling/reinstalling
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

I was unable to locate the specific name of 'hp photo and imaging gallery' in my control panel. I realized I already have the 'photo creations' on my computer because i have an hp all in one D110 printer and that was installed with the printer. That program does not give me the option to print different pictures of one size on a single sheet of paper. For instance the photo and imaging gallery allowed you to print different passport size pictures on a single sheet of paper. If there is a way to do that with the photo creations, please tell me how, or is there a different program I can download to help me with that? Thank you.

Hi Magdamor.
You can place up to 60 photos on a page in HP Photo Creations. The program doesn't have a preset for passport-size prints, but here's a trick using the Collage Prints project:
- Starting on the Home screen, click the Full Catalog button.
- Click the Print at Home tab.
- Click the Prints & Posters button, then select Collage Prints.
- Select the Plain White theme. It's in the Contemporary category.
- Add your photo(s).
- Click the Photos tools (on the left side of the screen) and then the Used Photos tab. You'll see a small version of your photo there.
- Click the photo in the Used Photos area several more times to add multiple copies to the layout. In the example below, we added ten copies total.
- Click the Design tools. Then click the Photo Layouts tab.
- Select the Basic category and then click the fourth preset. It looks like a big square. Your photos should line up as shown below. You can drag the gray "handles" at the corners of the photo group to resize all photos at once.
Hope this helps,

This image showed multiple versions of the same photo. You can of course use different photos as well.
To exchange a single photo, use the Photo Wheel: Click the bottom left corner of the photo you want to replace and drag up or down. The other photos you've loaded will swap into that space.

thank you so much. the only thing is I couldn't get it to look like a nice even grid, but I think it's because i used an odd number of photos.
