hp simplepass problems?

Simplepass just isn't ready for "Prime Time", its not worth the aggravation. I tried 3 different browsers and  simplepass recognized exactly 9 of the 43 logon pages. Reinstalling crap just gives you a new installation of crap!

I'm having problems with my simplepass reader it know longer lights up and doesnt read any finger prints.  I was hopeing that maybe it was disabled and not damaged is there any way i can check for enabling simplepass.

The software still prompts me when logging in to the comp and at all websites that I've set up for the reader, however the reader itself doesnt light up or register that a finger print was ever passed over it.

hello. I'm having this hp SimplePass problem. It just happened after I upgraded my internet browser to firefox 4. I can't add a logon, it says "this is not a logon screen". this occured to yahoo mail, facebook and twitter. please help me to fix this. my laptop is Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC with a windows 7 home premium. And I tried the solution you've given, but I cant found the hp SimplePass in the list of software program reinstallation, but there's "Digita Persona Finger Print Reader for Consumer NB". are they the same thing? I didn't further clicked it because I'm afraid it might worsen my problem.

I had the same problem. SimplePass won't work with Firefox 4...yet.

I was curious when SimplePass would be compatible with Firefox 4? Will SimplePass offer us a software update to make it combatible with newer browsers? As it stands, this is pretty frustrating. Almost as frustrating as trying to navigate the EgisTec website...woof.

I'm having the same problem and I tried what you suggested, but the HP Simplepass is not an option for reinstall.  A cable company technician took control of my computer and he did something with the browser, he deleted the browser history and made other changes to my computer.  Whatever he did erased all my simplepasses.

My HP SimplePass does not work any longer - probably after installation of Roxio 2011. Uninstalled and did Recovery of all programs and drivers in Recovery Manager in my new HP Pavilion dv7-6031eo laptop. Running the SimplePass program gives the message "Sensor not connected. Connect sensor and try again" (translated from Swedish).

This is caused by resetting IE to its default configuration, either by re-installing or deliberatly doing a reset from "Tools-Internet Options".

To restore SimplePass goto "Tools->Manage Add-Ons" and enable "TrueSuite Website Log On"

I just bought a new laptop that has SimplePass 2011 on it.  I cannot find where to add my address and contact info for auto fill on order sites.  My husbands laptop has an older version that does this.  Any ideas?

I accidentally entered in the wrong login info on a web page and told Simplepass to remember it before I realized it was wrong. Now whenever I go to that login page Simplepass asks me to swipe my finger to log on but the username/password it enters is not correct. How do I delete the wrong info from Simplepass?
