i have a dv6t-4000... keyboard when i type jump.It types jump7..other letters i get 2 things with

My dv6t-4000 had a back up light on keyboardist stopped working so i bought a reg keyboard for it.Few of the keys work right,the other keys you get 2 things like p7 ..d/.s3...when i hook up a usb keyboard to it. usb works fine..How do you fix that?

Please remove(uninstall) currently installed HP power assitant and the HP power manager utility from programs and features in control panel.

download and install the latest ones from hp.com;
