When you plug into USB port what kind of problem you've got?

The driver should automatically be installed for it. Is that not happening?

I have a similar problem.  CD drive works fine for rips, but pc will not recognize for burns.  Did once, but has not since.   Is driver the issue?  Why is driver not available or at lease some reponse on this post?  Windows FixIt is useless.
