Re: move hp advisor

With the dock open, click HP advisor drop down menu >PC Dashboard, a window will open, there is a "settings" link at the bottom left, click it, untick "locate dock at bottom of screen"

You would think it should be in "Customize Dock", but its Not!

Re: move hp advisor

Click Start, In the search box Type 'PC DashBoard'. When it show up in the result area click on it. Now HP Advisor PC Dashboard open, click on setting which located at left hand bottom corner of that windows.

Now in setting windows, Look for 3 option 'Locate the dock at the bottom of the screen', uncheck the box front of it... Click Apply

Check Below Screen shot...

Can you see an HP icon in your Taskbar for it?  If so you could right-click, Move and then drag the Dock to somewhere where you could click on its buttons...

Wow.   The Dock is being a bit obnoxious about that idea.  I needed to use a Cursor movement to make it get the idea it was to move, then I was able to drag it further with my mouse.   YMMV.   Another bit of W7 quirkiness to add to the general unusability is that you don't get the Window menu from the Taskbar button exactly, you need to wait for the Taskbar button's thumbnail of the Dock to appear and then you can right-click it.   The Dock also has a completely unusable Maximize mode.  Why not just minimize the silly thing?  <eg>

Good luck
