Please find the steps might help you to resolve your issue.
1) Click "Start," type Device Manager in the search bar and press "Enter." Click the arrow next to "Mice and other pointing devices." Right-click on the touchpad listing and click "Uninstall." Also click Start>Control Panel>Programs and Features>Uninstall a Program>Select Synaptics and click uninstall. Restart the computer and it should automatically reinstall the drivers.
2) Please update the Bios & Latest driver for touchpad from HP website.
