pavilion dv5 - validity sensor

recently installed windows 7. have a problem with the fingerprint reader. installed the validity driver about thousand times - nothing helps, the pc still doesnt see it(( :smileymad:

Hi,

Uninstall Your current Validity driver from system.

 

Resource:
Uninstalling Software in Windows 7
Uninstall or change a program in Windows7


Download and install latest version:

Validity fingerprint driver here

 

When You will do this install:

DigitalPersona Personal ver 4.01.3749  for 32bit Windows 7 here and for 64bit Windows 7 here.

 

When You will do this update it to version 4.11.3826.

If You don't know how to do this check point C in below guide:

DigitalPersona Personal and Windows 7

Please write your notebook product number (p/n), which system are you using and country of purchase.
