Hi Progamer,
The best I could recommend it taking it back to the purchase point and have them look at it. They will have someone that will fix this for you.
Thanks

Hi ya,
I tried what you suggested and it seems like it may actually be a hardware issue with mine, as it won't allow me to press f9 to access set-up defaults. If this is the case, what do I do now? My keyboard just stopped working one day and I've a password set up so I can't get into the notebook. Please help.
Thanks,
Laura

I have an HP Pavilion g6-1320se notebook. My keyboard has suddenly become disfunctional. The keys "F1; F2; 3; E; D; C" do not work anymore. Basically a column of keys on my keyboard don't work. I use Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit). I have no idea why this has happened, does not seem to be because of any new software. I uninstalled and then reinstalled my keyboard from Device Manager, but the problem persists. Please help me with this issue.
