Hi,

1. If You are using mouse, external keyboard or any other external device like: usb wireless, etc. then uninstall software and drivers  for it and restart system. Check is this issue still in Your system.

2.  Try to test Your system in Clean Boot. If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment then we may say then it may be not so big problem. Report about it.

3. Use Powercfg command to check this issue. To do that, refer to the steps below:

  • Click the Start Button, type "cmd" (without quotation marks), right click on the "Cmd.exe" and choose  "Run as administrator".
  • Type "powercfg -devicequery wake_armed" (without quotation marks) in the open window and press Enter Key.

  • A list of the configured devices to wake the computer will be received, then type the following command to disable them one by one and see if the culprit can be found. (We may test the result after disabling each device.)

Powercfg -devicedisablewake "devicename"

Note: "devicename" is a device name listed as a result of running the first command.

  • For example, if the network card "Intel(R) PRO Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection" is listed, we can type the following command to disable it and press Enter.

Powercfg -devicedisablewake "Intel(R) PRO Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection"

  • Please repeat the steps for other devices in the list.
  • Reboot the computer and check this issue again.

If the issue will still be in Your system, type the following command and post the result here:

  • Click the Start Button, type "cmd" (without quotation marks), right click on the "Cmd.exe" and choose "Run as administrator".

  •  Type "powercfg -lastwake" (without quotation marks) in the open window and press Enter Key
