webcam not working

I have had this problem for months now and hp is not helping they just send me to the same links over and over someone plz help. My lapyop is saying that my webcam has been unistalled and none of my programs will read it. I have redone the driver and the youlink cyber cam program. I have also already done the chipset 3 download.  Does anyone have any idea where i can get the stuff i need to reinstall my webcam cause i really need to get it up and running
