what's the standard hp laptop warranty?

if i don't want any additional HP Care Pack services when customerize my purchase?

 

1 year, right?

The standard warranty  is one year for consumer notebooks

That is correct.

 

The standard 1 year warranty is included in the advertised price.

Every high dollar item that you purchase comes with a standard free warranty. That includes HDTV and microwave ovens.

Who would pay for the shipping fee when a defective unit is being sent back to HP for standard warranty service?   Would HP provide customer with shipping label?  Should the customers send back the notebook battery as well as power suppliies?
