Thanks to Bob Headrick for giving me the patch to correct the problem of upside down (head-to-foot) printing on the back when using my duplexor and Vista Premium on my 2710 xi. His patch works fine.
I had difficulty understanding the instructions, but my son is a computer guru and used the patch effectively. It worked! It is unbelievable that HP doesn't coordinate with Mr. Headrick and resolve this issue for the sake of thousands of HP customers. Shame on HP and thanks again, Bob.

Major thanks to Bob Headrick for solving the duplexing problem on my All-in-One 2610. I had purchased this printer approx. 3 or 4 years ago -spent several hundred dollars more rigging it with the secondary paper supply and the auto-duplexer that also prints photos and envelopes.
I thought the problem was the second HP All-in-One C7280 that I purchased about a year ago - since a small plastic part broke off my 2610 which holds the spring where you insert the black cartridge. But I decided to use the 2610 for printing pretty much text docs and envelopes, especially "manuals" that now come on disk rather than printed with the software. Well, my 2610 worked fine always printing correctly in two-sided mode, until what I thought was the addition of the new printer. Never occured to me that it was Vista! Particularly since I had spent many hours on the phone with HP tech support, even having them send me an updated driver disk. But still, my 2610 was reduced to printing "upside down" instead of what I wanted, which was to make a booklet printed on 3 hole punch paper (which is in the second paper tray), also an issue -
Thanks, thanks and more thanks to Bob for not only fixing the duplexing issue, but I can now print from the second paper try again - which for me comes in very handy since a good deal of printing is done from my laptop which is a flight down from my printer. No more wasted paper and no more looking upside down at double sided documents! thanks Bob,
Pat
