8500A Plus A910 will not print to gold foil labels

The printer picks up the labels sheet and gives either a wrong size paper error or a paper not present error. Anyone else have this problem? How did or can you fix it?

Hi,

Gold foil labels are not a supported print media type for your HP printer. This URL links  to the specifications for your HP printer so you can verify that. There is currently no fix available for printing with non supported print media.

I am finding the the 8500A will not correctly print to ANY labels I have used. All are standard Avery 8.5 x 11 sheets set up in Microsoft Word 2010. The labels are completely misaligned. Anyone know any fixes for this? Thanks in advance
