All the lights are blinking on HP Officejet 6500A Plus

Error message C2FE015A flashes & then all the lights keep blinking.  When we open the cover the printer carriage stays to the far right.  It does not move to the center & I cannot move it.

HI,

 

Sorry to say this sounds like a hardware defect or firmwre failure to me. If you are getting in one of the menu's ther might be some steps to take. If not you might need to call HP support.

 

Something you can try is disconnecting all cords from the printer for an hour or 2 and then boot it up again to see if it will come through.
