Blank pages sneaking through.

I have a Photosmart D5460 and when I select to print on both sides, it prints the first side fine with no blank pages sneaking through.

When it comes to printing the second side, that's when I have problems.

It feeds two pages through randomly - thus screwing up what I have printed. This can be VERY frustrating, especially if I have a manual to print with something like  80+ pages, it's all heading for the recycle bin.

Is there any way this can be prevented, other than feding them through one at a time, which could take all day - NOT what I call an ideal day.
