C5180 Cartridge empty, NOT!!!

My problem with my C5180 is following:

 

When I want to print I get a message, cartridge empty, in this case Cyan. The choice is to cancel or print in black only. When I do the last, it prints in colour!

 

I did the trick of removing all cartridges and shutting down the printer and starting up again. Still the same problem. When I printed a selftest page directly from the printer (USB not connected), no message, no problem. I did the same by choosing to print such page through properties (USB connected) it also printed without a problem!

 

The printer is 2 years old, and It's my second HP printer that's abandoning me. One should expect a good quality printer, but no, within tow years it breaks down. No warranty and you have to pay to get an answer for your problem, while there are more people suffering the same problem with their printer.

 

A  next printer surely no HP!
