Can I do poster printing on my hp officejet pro 8600?

On my old printer (hp photosmart C7180) I could do poster printing and I was just wondering if I could do that on my hp officejet pro 8600. My printer's product number: CM749 I am using Windows 7 Professional.

Hi zippyzizo,

 

Welcome to the HP Consumer Printing Forums!

 

The HP Officejet Pro 8600 should be capable of poster printing, but you would need specialized software to do so. Your previous printer (Photosmart C7180) may have came with the software, but I don't believe the 8600 does. However, there are 3rd party softwares available on the web, some free, some paid (I saw many when searching for poster printing software). Here is one such free example:
