I have a six year old HP 3210 All-in-One, which has been working fine until today. After finishing printer about 40 pages between two pdf files, I tried to copy one page and got an "Error- Carriage jam. Open door, clear carriage jam, and then press OK to continue." I have never gotten this error before.
A popup from HP help appeared and I followed the links to a self-help video on carriage jams and followed all the steps (unplug power, wait 30 sec, etc.), and looked for paper jams in the back and front around the printer head, but I cannot find any paper. My printer carriage head appears to be solidly docked on the right hand site, so with the printer still plugged in but turning the power off I am not able to open the top to move the carriage freely left and right to look for maybe small bits of paper. I checked my last print out (21 pages) and none of the pages looked torn or missing a piece of paper.
Any help very appreciated.
