Color Laser Jet 5500dn Leaves Line on Every Print

1. Product Name and Number - HP Color Laser Jet 5500dn

 2. Operating System installed - NA, But Mac OSX Lion

 3. Error message (if any) - NA

 4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred - None   

 

Hi Everyone,

Every time we print from the printer we get a faint line across the headed of the page about one inch from the top.  The line appears even when we "print" a blank page.  The line appease on both sides of the page when printing single or double sided.  It seems to fade when we print a lot of pages.  We have changed the toner and cleaned the Fuser Input.

Any help would be great!

Hi TimestarTechLLC,

 

The HP Color Laserjet 5500dn is a commercial printer. I would suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support for a better chance at finding a solution.
