Color does not print on my Officejet K60c printer

I was using a remanufactured cartridge that ran out of ink and when I replaced it I ran into an alignment failure issue.  So I then replaced that cartridge with a new HP cartridge, but had the same problem.  I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the s/w.  Hope you can help!
