Hello.
As a corporate client we have a desire to force duplex printing on all our Server based queues (Windows Server 2003 R2, Standard Edition, SP2) the printers are all HP mainly 4350dtn but a few others models too. We can happily print duplex within applications, we can also set each desktop/laptop printer icon within control panel to default to duplex but we wish to find a way to configure the server based queue so that we don't have to touch every one of our 1200 PCs
So we know that the device and driver will work fine but the default of the queue is to print single sided how can we change this and avoid touching every userprofile on every PC?

Sounds like you have done all you can do with the drivers. The next step is to check each printer to see if they have an option to turn on duplexing through the printers front panel. If so, any single sided job sent to them will be duplexed. The offset to that is that when you ask for a duplex job, it will print single sided. the work around for that is to install the drivers but to tell the driver there is no duplexer installed so that the option remains invisible or greyed out.
