I hope someone will answer this question..........Below are my Printer specifications:
Printer Model Name: hp deskjet 5600 series
Printer Information: - Drv=hp deskjet 5600 series 9.4.2.0
- Port=USB001
Print Assistant Version/Update Version: 4.0 / 0.0
Windows Version: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Memory (RAM) - 2046 MB
My printer keeps giving me out of paper errors, paper jam errors, and mech. errors. I've tried cleaning the rollers, cartridges, etc......I've checked for any jammed paper.....Nothing. I've tried disconnecting, and reconnecting....Nothing. Everytime I try to print the out of paper screen appears even though,, there is paper loaded. After I press the button on the front of the printer, immediately the paper jam screen comes up. After I press the button on the front, a piece of paper will be released, then the printer will print the document. If I try to print more than one, or two copies, the mech. error will come up. The printer starts printing as the Page Setup margins indicate. Then all of a sudden the margins will shift, thus giving me the mech. error. I recently installed add'l RAM do you think that might be the problem?
