Document printout.

When i typed in information for a document in my word pad it does not print out as typed.It comes out distorted with some of the printng not in the correct place.Is this a problem or am i typing it in wrong??

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth?

Sorry for my stupidity in my previous message on print out of documents.The printer is new. It is a B210 series.Photosmart print, scan, copy.It is connected by USB cable.
