Email settings in J4580 All-In-One Solution Center

Hi there,

For some time i use my all-in-one J4580 printer with the Windows Vista application on my computer.

But recently i change and did run an upgrade to the Windows 7 application and everything did goes verry well without any problems accept for one detail: when i have to scan any document and send it with the mail application in the Solution Center it will use the old Windows mail application from Windows Vista and send it to the destination of my choise.

Only the problem is that i can't run that email application within my Windows 7 and i can't find the delivered mail because the Solution Center still uses the Windows mail from Windows Vista. Windows 7 support only Windows Live Mail and i can not set this in my Solution Center of the J4580 All-In-One printer. Verry strange that the Solution Center still can use the Windows Mail application from Windows Vista on an Windows 7 32bits running application on my desktop.

My question: how can i change the mail settings in the Solution Center of my J4580 All-In-One printer?

I have not found it in the HP Support Forum and the warranty is expired, so i can't send a mail to the support center of HP.

I will be grateful if someone has an solution for this problem.

Please use plain text.
