Enlarging a clipart picture

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8500A all in one printer.  I cannot figure out how to enlarge a clipart picture.  The instructions and search engine included with this printer do not show how to do this.  Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Heather

Re: Enlarging a clipart picture

Are you trying to enlarge a bit of clipart from the copy or scanner or do you want to enlarge artwork you have on the computer?

Re: Enlarging a clipart picture

I am trying to enlarge a clipart image from the copier, however, if this can be done on the scanner, that would also work.

Thank you,

Press the copy button then select settings.  There will be a couple settings for enlarging/reducing, including fit to page and custom.

Use fit to page if you have a small item cut out and want it to fill the page.  If you want to enlarge something select Custom and then set the enlargement to whatever magnification you want.  This can be set from 25% (much smaller) to 400% (much larger).  To make the copy you will then load the original in the forward right corner of the scanner glass.

If you frequently make enlarged copies you may want to save the settings as your default.  In that case the enlarge/reduce settings would be used unless you change them for a single job or set new defaults for all jobs.

Could not find a "Accept as Solution" button, but this did work and thank you very much.
