Hello out there. My 3210 all-n-one won't work. It was. After about 6-8 times printing with it the thing stopped. Thinking cartridges were empty/old, I changed all. All dated Feb 08 or prior. Still won't work and leaves error message: Ink system has failed. Unable to copy, receive faxes or print. Refer to printer documentation. Error: Oxc18a0001. Checked HP help site for this model and tried all solutions that might apply. Still, nothing. Even tried the Chat line......no response!!! Any assistance would be appreciated otherwise looks like the shop.

Since you used cartridges manufactured in Feb 2006(the date on the cartridge is the end of warranty date, which is 2 years from the date of manufacture), there may be a possibility that the old ink has damaged the ink delivery system. Unfortunately, there's a very small chance of fixing this issue permanently. I suggest you call HP Tech Support and see what they'll suggest. I'm guessing the printer is out of warranty, so you may have to pay to upgrade to a newer printer as this model is no longer produced by HP.

Same error here with the HP Photosmart C7250 All-in-One. Removed cartridges, powered off and on, still get the same error. Any suggestions, apart from getting a new printer ?
