Faded toner on print outs

I'm using a HP Laserjet 1022N on the local network where all of the computers are running Windows 7 Home Premium.  When I print from any of those computers the print-outs are faded in the middle.  I ran Clean Printer in printer properties, but that did not fix the problem.  I changed the toner twice, but still having the same issue.  Any help will be appreciated.
