HP 1315 Photosmart MEMORY CARD IN BACKWARDS message on screen. There is no card inserted.

What are the solutions? I tried unplugging, hold the X button. Nothing seems to reset the card slot. All else is fine. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. Dennis Chandler

Is this error message on the computer screen or the printer?

 

Was there a memory card inserted at the time the error appeared?

 

How is the printer connected to the computer?

 

What operating system does the computer use?

 

Does the printer still function or does the error prevent it from functioning?
