HP C7250 Error Message question

The job failed to print due to an error in the printing system.. My printer worked fine for about the first 6 months I had it. About last month it started giving this message everytime I tried to print. Before this it started printing very slowly. I uninstalled the printer, and took of driver etc. Then reinstalled driver and printer but am still getting the same message. I have Windows Vista, and an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC Laptop. Any suggestions? I have to print

Is this connected by the USB cable? if yes, then please run the Print Diagnostic Utility and see what happens.

unplug from power cord for a minute and then plug back in. i just did it with mine and it worked if it still didnt work uninstall reinstall and unplug then replug.

done that a thousand times, solves the problem for a short time, then re-occurs Windows XP and HP photosmart or photodumb C7250
