Hello all,
I'm having issues with my HP D4360. Every time I turn it on, a sheet of paper is fed into the printer and stops halfway resulting in a jam. When I click on the flashing error to unjam it it just spits it out, a new sheet is automatically fed in and stops halfway. And this keeps going. I tried unplugging it, disconnecting it, playing with the configuration... nothing. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Remove the rear door and look in there (with a flashlight) for any stray pieces of paper, labels or whatever. Do the same from the front of the printer and the top (open the lid).
Do you see anything?

could not find anything in either compartment. Idk if this helps but leading up to the problem the printer was making a loud clicking noise every time I turned it on and when it was getting ready to print something.

OK, let's look around some more. Open the lid, then unplug power. Use a flashlight to look around for any parts out of place, broken, etc. Move the carriage around to look under its parking stall, too.

Thanks for all your help. I followed your advice and had my father look with me with a flashlight. I found traces of small dog hair the a used a bottle of pressurized air to clean out and I looked under the ink cartridges and I saw a small puddle of blank ink under the ink cartridge which I'm not sure is related. After that I switched it back on and now it sounds different but it is still doing the same thing.

I think its time for a trip to the warranty department or a new printer.

=/ I've had it for maybe a year and a half maybe. I'll try to take it somewhere. It's not covered in dog hair or even anything near that, it was mostly some dust.
