I have used HP deskjet printers and cartridges for ten years. I have three different printers in my house. In the last six weeks I have experienced a new problem - cartridge electronic failure - twice in six weeks. Two different printers, different cartridges, purchased new from Office Depot. Given the expense of these little jewels, to have a cartridge fail when still half full is irritating, not to mention expensive. Are others having this experience? Does HP provide a warranty to replace failed cartridges. ps - can't determine how much ink ithe cartridge has left because the electronics can not read the cartridge.
