HP Laserjet CP1025nw Color Printer - printer prints two copies when only one is requested.

I have have installed the basic driver from the CD received with the printer, a couple of different time previously and the problem continued.  I was mistaken, however in my last correspondence to you, regarding the last test.  I experienced the problem on MS Word 2007 instead of 2010.  Therefore it is happening with both programs.  I really don't want to reinstall the basic printer software, due to my past experience, unless you insist that this be done.

After downloading the update file you sent to me, I attempted to install, but received a message box that said "Could not find appropriate firmware".  What do I need to do now?

I attempted to install the download you sent to me to both of my computers.  In both cases I got the response that "could not find the appropriate firmware"

I have tested the firmware, and it worked ok for me on Win 7 64-Bit. Make sure you have the printer connected using the USB connection, and try running the firmware again. Let me know what happens?

I hooked up the printer to the computer via cable as you instructed and then ran the update, on both computers.  I received a message stating that the update was installed successfully, however, when I attempted to print, the printer would not print, even though it was connected by cable.  I attempted to do this on both computers.  Now what do I need to do?  Do you really believe this is something other than a printer problem?

Press and hold the Cancel (X) button for about 5 to 10 seconds to printer configuration page from the printer.

Let me know if you are able to print the configuration page?

If you can print the config page what is the firmware version?
