HP Officejet 6500 stopped printing, just blank paper comes out.

My Officejet 6500 just stopped printing.  I use an USB connection and my O/S is Windows XP Home.  At first, it was just text that wouln't print but colors would come through,  even on test prints.  On a documet print the small box comes up showing data being transferred to printer, printer starts but only runs through a blank page.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled complete program, went through the complete HP Guided Solutions program, checked all connections, installed new driver and still doesn't print anything.  Have never had any previous problems since I purchased.  I have not recently installed any new programs.  Would appreciate any other suggestions.

After everything I went through, I finally resolved the issue.  Although the ink levels showed ink in the cartridges, I put  a new black one in and it works!
