Not a computer novice (15 years at IBM) but I can't write code. I know my way around an installation. I did not receive an error message. I don't know if it's something I did or something my friend did (he claims not), but several months ago, my printer quit printing the HP-generated header (topic and "page 1 of 2," etc.) and footer (http:/site and date). A few hours ago, I downloaded the most recent driver and everything is up-to-date; I've turned the computer on and off; turned the printer on and off; unplugged and plugged the USB connection. Until this happened and became so difficult to fix, I loved this printer (bought a wireless Kodak and then went back to my HP). I've been working on this off and on for three months and I'm just about a the end of my rope. Thank you for any help you can give.
