HP PSC 1209 will not print

I am using a HP Pavilion dv9408nr notebook with Windows Vista Home Premium. I went to HP website and checked drivers. It says there is no full function drivers for this printer for Vista, but the installed drivers would allow printing. I downloaded the HP diagnostic program and it says everything is ok. I hooked up to a Epson CX5400 printer and it functioned perfectly. Have any clues?

What happens when you try to print with the 3915?  Are there any error messages?  Does the light on the 3915 blink?

If you meant the 1209, there are no error messages, the printer lights do not blink. There is nothing in the queue. When I hit print, the message on the screen is "print is sent to PSC 1209 printer", but nothing happens.
