I recently tried changing the cartridges for an HP Photosmart C5180 printer and bought two new sets so I had some for the future. The HP rep in the store told me that 02xl vivera HP Inks would work as well as the regular 363 cartridges that came with the printer and they would be better value as they hold 50% more ink. They also fit perfectly into the printer.
When I put them in the error message on the front of the printer says, 'The ink cartridges are not intended for use with this printer '. I cannot take them back to the shop as I bought them in an HP store in Las Vegas and I live in England. PLEASE, PLEASE help if you can as I am sure they would work with setting change or something.
Kind regards
Andy

Sorry, the 02 cartrdiges cannot be made to work in the C5180 that is regionalized for England. There are some circumstances where HP can change the regionalization settings for a printer, but this case does not fit that model.
