HP Photosmart D7360 error adding printer

I have an HP Pavillion dv6500 laptop and an HP Photosmart D7360 printer. I keep it connected to a tower computer, but will sometimes unplug the the usb and plug it into my laptop.  Now, for some reason, it doesn't recognize the printer.  I have uninstalled the drivers for the printer and re-installed.  When I plug in the usb it says the driver is installed, yet when I look in the control panel the printer doesn't exist.  When I go to add the printer, it gives me the option to choose the D7300 series printer.  I do... then as it attempts to install the printer I get the following error:  

 

"Printer driver was not installed. Operation could not be completed (error 0x000005b3)"

 

I'm really at a loss.  I've tried everything I can think of and just can't get it to install!

 

Help!

I had to do a disk clean up- and defrag to get enough usuable space to get driver basic to install, then I could print

from notepad and from a wordperfect document, but I am unable to print a page from online??11???  Any ideas people?
