Why would HP printer C4400 be printing only 1/3 (the left third) of a 4 X 6 photo? Using WIN XP.
This has been going on for a month. I've tried everything!! Helpi

I have the same problem except that this only occurs in scanning and copying. Printing is just fine. I have a Deskjet F4280 running on Windows Vista and on another computer running Windows 7. I can't get anyone to respond to anything. I have reinstalled and de-bugged all the drivers and everything checks out. I am coming to the conclusion that this is a printer hardware problem and since out of warranty I will have to buy another scanner.

BillHS: It's pretty obvious that Hewlett Packard would love us to buy another HP printer, but, I for one will not!
Since they don't seem to want to comment on this medium,to correct our problem (even though we are "out-of-warrenty") they have now lost TWO HP CUSTOMERS! I rest my case. Good luck! Fred K

I am the same! No advice, no solution, much frustration and I still can't scan. Need to but I will refuse to buy another HP printer/scanner. Too much grief! Good luck to you too! BillHS
