Hello. Question regarding officejet j4580 all-in-one printer

Hello everybody.

I have the printer model officejet j4580, and it has a weird problem: Every time I try to print, it sends out one blank paper, feeds in half of another paper and the pauses and stop responding. If I try to shut it down it says "shutting down" and gets stuck.

 

things I've tried so far:

-uninstalling & reinstalling the driver

-reseting the printer (about a million times)

-returning the printer to default settings

 

I dont think it has anything to do with the software, because when trying to send a self-test report from the printer itself it acts exactly the same.

 

Please help me!

Hi,

Have you tried cleaning the rollers & separation pad?
