How can I turn off the sleep mode on my B209a

I need to turn the sleep mode off on my B209a printer,every time my computer updates and printer is in sleep mode , my computer does not reinstall printer.

usally its at a time where I need to print and I have to stop and reboot system with the printer on.

HI,

 

Go into the setup menu from the display of the unit and find prefferances. In there is the option called "energy save mode". You should be able to turn it off there.

I did check the off box ,but the printer still  gos into sleep mode.

Hi,

 

That's strange, please check if its still set to off. If not set it to off again and then power down the unit and power it up again. If it still goes into sleep mode after that have a call in to your local support, might be something is wrong with the unit. Go to www.hp.com select your country and click on the contact support link in the bottom right corner.

Thanks the off button is still in off position.

 

do I need to reboot by the power switch or do I need to remove power cord ?
