I need help Photosmart C4280 print-drivers.

I have a c4280 Photosmart Printer and a Windows 7 Asus Desktop PC (Win7 Home Premium).  I have attempted about every solution given to me to get the print driver to load.  All other software associates with the product loads fine, including the SCAN function.  I have ran the PRINT Diagnostics software from HP, I have uninstalled, reinstalled the drivers several times and still not able to get the print driver to load.  I connected the printer to my Lenovo Laptop running the same OS (Win7 Home Premium) and no issues, the printer loads without any errors. The bottom-line I am looking for a solution to get the print driver to load. You help on this will be greatly appreciated.

This may sound basic, but have you tried disabling any security (anti-virus/firewall) software when trying the installation? And running as administrator?

I appreciate the reply. I even went as far as to open the Firewall, and uninstall the anti-virus. I have a feeling that there is a program or software running a file that is conflicting with the drivers. I will probably end up backing up the data I need and reformat the drive.
