hi i had changed new cartriges on this printer month ago and it is not working sisnce then i am getting error "
ink system failure" i had tried every thing from restarting to reinstalling cartiges and unplugging printer. please help me with this issue its only one year old printer i think not even one year. can you tell me if this issue is fixable. please contact me through email . thanks

So I too have a HP c309A. Its been pretty good. But like everything else it was outdated before it got on the
store shelvs! Anyway... Ive had it just about a year and a half and it been a great printer. We've had LOTS of trouble with
lightning hitting our house (Via cable wires), and when this same error message came up I was sure lightning had hit it.
I found these posts and tried the reset thing... and then I got the bright idea to clean the "printer head". I've already got
my moneys worth.. and I was either gonna fix it.. or foul it up! I couldnt find alchol so I moved on to Clorox Clean Ups. I pulled
the ink carterages out then the print head "box" it was in. ICK! I wiped off all the excess ink that had built up on it. I took a can of air and blew some of it off/out of the ribbon. (BE CAREFUL NOT TO SPRAY IT EVERYWHERE) All of about 25 min. later I was putting it back together. It took about ten minutes to set its self back up. Then glory to God it started printing!! I dont know how long it will last... but Im on day three already!!!! Good luck!
