I am using a deskjet F4280 printer with number 60 basic cartridges. How many average color 8x10 prints can I expext out of one of these cartridges. Hp gives a number of 160. But Im sure thats for a few color words or graphs on a sheet. I am trying to find out how many average full sheet 8x10 color prints can be made from a #60 cartridge. Can anyone set me straight?.

From HP's page yield site here the Deskjet 4200 series is rated at 50 4"x6" photo's for a 60 cartrdige and 135 for a 60XL cartridge. A 4x6 photo would be 24 square inches, an 8 x 10 is 80 square inches so I would expect about 15 8x10's from a 60 cartridge and about 40 from a 60XL cartridge.
