I have an Officejet Pro L7590 which is currently reporting that its cyan and magenta cartridges are nearing their expiration dates. According to your Web site, I should be able to bypass the expiration on these cartridges, and according to the printer itself, this should be a simple matter of hitting the OK button on the printer. However, I can hit OK until the cows come home and it just gives me the same message over and over and won't print anything, even stuff that doesn't require colour.
The message says "The ink in the following cartridges is nearing its expiration date... (some other stuff, then ends with) To continue with this ink, press OK.", but it doesn't really seem to mean the last part.

I see that multiple people are reporting the same problem, but there are no replies. I'm dealing with the same thing--hopefully someone will decide to stop ignoring this problem and answer the question--even if to tell us there is no reasonable way of fixing it--that we have to buy a new cartridge to make it stop.

I have this same exact problem. Same printer, Office Jet Pro L7590. Has anyone found a solution? The entire machine is unusable in the meantime.

I fixed mine by doing the following. I replaced all the cartridges that were reporting low ink. On powering back up it started having an "alignment error". I replaced the black/yellow printhead. My printer now works without error. I dont know if this would work for anyone else but it worked for me.
