J6480 all-in-one Getting Paper Jam error - MY LAST HP PRINTER EVER

Hello guys,

I'm getting this paper jam error on my J6480 printer. I've already done all 3R's repower/reset/reload the printer 3 or more times. This is my 5th HP all-in-one printer and all have had some kind of trbl w/ all 5 printer. This printer is now out of warranty and I can not find a fix anywhere. A big hint for anyone that may knows what's going on is that the Feeder Wheel stays up, so the paper NEVER going into the printer. And it make a sound when it should feed the paper. 

As I stated before, this is my 5th Hp all-in-one printer starting back w the D145-7300 to now having this j6480 (pics below) if I can not get this one back working it will be MY LAST HP PRINTER. ALL 5 PRINTER WENT BAD AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS TIME I WILL NOT REPLACE IT W/ AN HP.

Thanks for your reply. Sad to said I've done all of this b4; there's no paper in the printer wheels, I've reset and reloads the printer too. The feeded wheel never drops to feed the paper. Do you need pics or video?

Well, if there is nothing under/in/behind the pick roller mechanism, and it is not dropping.....that would be a mechanical failure most likely. Possibly as a result of a previous jam, but it sounds like it is physically broken. If it is not physically broken, the firmware update in that document could help, that is if you had not updated the firmware previously.

I did a firmware update from my SD card and still no good.

Okay, try this: umplug the power, remove the paper, remove the paper tray  (I believe you can on that model from what I remember) so you can see the roller assembly on the right side I believe. Does it hang down in this state? If you reach in can you push up and feel spring pressure downward? If not, then it is stuck in the uppder position. There could be something in there or something binding against it. If it is stuck up there, try persuading it loose.
