Hi,
just thought I would share a problem with my Color Laserjet CP3525. After about 20 pages, brand new, out of the box, I received the error 60.02 which apparently is a problem with the Tray 2 mechanism. Wasting some time with HP support did not resolve it so I googled it and found the repair manual for the 3525 where they recommend a "Sensor test". OK, started the diagnostics function "Manual Sensor Test 2" and lo and behold, the indicator for the lifter mechanism end position photo interrupter sensor where sporadically stuck ON. Gently wiped it with a q-tip with cleaning solvent and now it works!
Heres my theory, the mechanism is pretty greasy, over-greased IMO. My guess is that it throws off grease when operating that got stuck on the sensor.
Hope this may help anyone!
Regards
Goran
