Laserjet 4650dn - Vista - printer driver

I am so frustrated.  I purchased a new laptop a year ago that runs Windows Vista and have yet to find a way to get it to print with my HP6450 Color Laserjet printer.

 

I finally got a USB cable, hooked it up today and was assured by the sales person at HP this would solve the problem.  Wrong.

 

Is there anyone else who has resolved this issue?  What printer driver do I need in order to use an expensive printer that is just gathering dust?

Woohow, I have the same problem, and I think I have solved it. When the SEWELL.com [[[usb to mini centronics cable arrives [see search: mini centronics to USB [converter??] cable]]], and the new battery and charger for the XP [sp3] [about $125 to rescue SEVEN printers, one Dell 8200 desktop, and Compaq presario 2100, I willl share with the entire world. I have the HP installation progrqms, on CD. Copyright law allows ONE copy, for individual scholarship. LEGAL. I always boaught legal software. Wanna be an employee or consultant?? I am an LLC, in Maryland, USA. my toybox; Dell desktop 8200, 2003, antique, [2003], xppro sp3; old, compaq presario 1200 [bad cabel; just orderen new one and charger], [2004], XPpro sp3; hp 3100 all in one; my workhorse; [1999], 11 years old, and cannot kill it; [not even an GSD would survive this], xp pro, sp3; my prize: hp clj 4650dn, network center; 15 x 5000 paages per $800 refill ' [twice in eight years[]. new: hp photosmart 7380 [2009] new hp photosmart 6300 [2010] and micellaneous stuff; DOS; dead. ...shepherd pie..
