The user guide specifications page for the HP envy 100 D410a printer clearly states that this printer will accomodate legal size paper (8.5x14") yet I cannot find, neither in the user guide nor via Google, how to load this paper into the printer. The paper tray is too short to hold anything larger than letter size-- legal paper just flops over the front end of the tray and the tray will not fully insert because of this. Can legal size paper be pushed in manually without using the tray? Is there a workaround for this problem? Help!

Thank you, but the pdf document I printed when I bought this printer lists on page 46 (under chapter 9: Technical Specifications) legal size paper and it's acceptable weights as being 16-24 lb. and that 125 sheets of 20 lb. legal paper will fit in the input tray and that 10 sheets of 20 lb. paper will fit in the output tray. What am I missing? Is this an HP mistake that was later corrected with an update on the link you posted?
Granted, my pdf document doesn't say how to get this kind of paper to load into the printer, but one would assume that in technical specifications writing that accuracy and honesty would prevail over shoddiness when describing the capabilities of a particular piece of equipment.
What's your best guess for this discrepancy?

Another sign that the D410a is unable to print legal paper is there is no legal size listed in the Printer Preferences.

hgl27, take a look at page 20 in the Officejet 4620 user's manual.
