I have an all-in-one hp c310a. When printing out cd labels, the graphics look fine on the print preview but when it comes off the printer, the graphics are about 1/4" too high, therefore leaving the bottom 1/4" of my cd label blank. I printed a Print Quality Diagnostic Report from my mac and it came out too high. The top of the report was cut off, it started printing before the paper was positioned properly. When printing the Print Quality Diagnostic Report directly from the touchsmart screen on my printer, the report printed fine. I'm wondering if there is a setting I am missing when I go to print my page.

HI,
This really sounds like an incorrect paper setting on the computer, a wrong size or type setting can cause these issues, especiallly as it seems to work great when printed directly from the unit.

I'm a moron... thank you for confirming that for me.
I was up late trying to get my cd labels to print properly. It was then that I decided to print the diagnostic report from the laptop and then directly from the printer. Haha... looks as though when I made a printer setting for my glossy cd labels, I had used Glossy Greeting Card for my paper type. Who knew that would goof everything up? I changed my paper type to Other Specialty Paper and it works fine. I appreciate your reply. Hopefully this will help others to know that it really does matter what you use for your paper type!!
