I purchased my Officejet 6500 online in Nov. 2010.
(1) Since January 2011, I have been trying to resolve the repeated loss of connection from the Officejet 6500 to the HP Solution Center on my HP Pavilion Slimline and to the HP Solution Center on a Toshiba laptop. (2) Since June 2011, I have been trying to resolve why the Officejet 6500 does not print correct colors on photos, after which black & white copy on documents print in colors that were previously incorrectly printed on the photos.
I have spent hours on the phone with tech support and many more hours with a case manager in TX. When I was sent to my former case manager, I prepared a 6-pg pdf to summarize all of my problems & previous contacts with HP tech support.
Last Dec., according to another case manager, my former case manager claimed that I told him that all was fine on a date when I was not in my office, after which my former case manager closed my case. When I telephoned my former case manager in January, another case manager told me that my case had been closed in Dec.
I have been working out of the country in Feb., returned last week, and attempted to call my former case manager today/12 March. Unfortunately, my former case manager no longer works in the dept. All that could be done today is to open another case file and pay HP for tech support (which has been ineffective for over 1 year already).
Does anyone have any ideas about how to resolve my problems?
